This evidence-based workshops provide information and practical skills for people living with long-term health conditions to better manage our health and improve the quality of our lives. Live Video Conferencing Workshops offer the full interactive curriculum but on a Zoom platform with books and handouts mailed to you and technical support for those new to video conferencing. Toolkit Telephone Workshops offer weekly phone calls with 4 or 5 others to learn and practice new skills and talk about weekly goals with books, tip sheets, and handouts mailed to you.

Diabetes Self-Management: For adults with pre-diabetes or diabetes or their caregivers, this workshop teaches the basics of balancing medication, diet and exercise, techniques to deal with hyper/hypoglycemia, meal planning, stress reduction, goal setting, problem solving and more. Live Video Conferencing Workshop: Seven Tuesdays, 9:30-12:00 p.m., Oct. 5- Nov. 16.

Hello Members and Volunteers,

Village Neighbors offers you a hike scheduled for 10:30 am Tues., Oct 19th. We will walk an easy/intermediate hike for 2 hours. Postponement to rain date of Oct 21, if necessary, will be posted on the VN website calendar at 9:30 am (Folks without internet can call 413-345-6894 to be notified in the event of postponement.). 

RSVP if you want to be notified or just show up.

We will begin and end at the entrance road to the 8 car lot on Shutesbury Rd. Look for the Village Neighbors sign on your right as you leave Leverett town center when the road dips down. We will mask as we meet and depart. Then mask wearing is at your personal comfort level as we hike.
