Jeannette Stockton - President

Shutesbury

After 15 years or so of summer residency, former New Yorker Jeannette Stockton is now a full time resident of Shutesbury with her husband Glenn, also a volunteer and member of VN. As a 31 year veteran middle/ high art teacher, a staff developer for teachers, and a several times a week yoga teacher in her former life, she decided to join Village Neighbors as a volunteer to get helpfully involved in her new community. She is now also busy relearning piano, doing and teaching yoga, making art and learning to speak Spanish.

Pictured with Jeannette is Glenn Stockton, a VN volunteer with the Small Home Repairs team.

Don Stone - Treasurer

Wendell

Don Stone, with his wife, Janee, has lived, loved and raised a family on their 25 acre homestead in Wendell since 1970, long enough to become deeply rooted and attached to living there.

Don was a professor of accounting at the University of Massachusetts for 25 years, and for the past 20 years has worked with area small businesses as a business consultant and advisor. He is a Board Member on several local non-profit organizations. He brings his business and accounting experience to the Village Neighbors Board as treasurer, and his enthusiastic support for Village Neighbors as a member and a volunteer.

Mary-Ann Palmieri - Clerk

New Salem

A Boston native, Mary-Ann has lived in New Salem with her husband, Tony, for 45 years. She retired from Great Falls Middle School in 2000 and has worked as a copy editor since then. She enjoys traveling, especially to visit her children and grandchildren in North Carolina and Hawaii.
