Presenters Linda Puzan, MSW, and Nancy Spittle, RN, bring decades of experience in the fields of dementia care and memory support. They have dedicated their careers to understanding the challenges of memory loss and providing compassionate guidance to individuals and caregivers alike.

VN Winter Meetups Coming in Wendell!

A series of cabin fever relieving meetups have been scheduled again at the cozy Deja Brew Pub on Lockes Village Road between the Post Office and the Wendell Country Store.   


Dates of VN meetups are:

January 30

February 13,

February 27

March 13

from 4:00 to 6:00 PM

The pub is open to the public on Friday evenings from 6 to 11pm, but owner Patti Scutari will open early for Village Neighbors members, volunteers and interested friends from 4 to 6 to enjoy drinks from Audrey at the bar. Free snacks will be provided by Village Neighbors.  For those who want a full “night out”, stay after 6:00, maybe order a pizza, sub or pasta dinner delivered from the Pizza Factory in Orange, and then enjoy live music starting at 8pm with a bonfire out in back if weather permits.

With 1/3 of our four towns’ populations now over age 60, all VN members are encouraged to actively create ways to support each other and volunteer. As we grow, we will need more VOLUNTEERS of all agesso please consider becoming a part of the Village Neighbors Team. You can choose to provide direct services or work behind the scenes.
